WHAT WE OFFER

Chiropractic Adjustments

Diversified Adjustments
Precise adjustments applied to spinal and extremity joints aim to address structural misalignments, improve motion, reduce pain, and enhance nerve function. These adjustments are often quick in their application and result in a distinctive “pop.”

Joint Mobilizations
Joint mobilizations are very similar to diversified adjustments but are much slower in their application. Some patients gravitate towards this approach as it can accomplish the same goal as traditional adjustments but the movements are not as fast.

Drop Table Adjustments
Although all adjustments are applied with only the exact amount of force necessary to accomplish the task at hand. Drop table adjustments further ensure any excessive force is taken out of the system by the drop piece. These adjustments can be loud but are often a favorite among patients.

Activator Adjustments
This is a very low force technique that can effectively correct joint restrictions. For these adjustments a handheld tool is used to apply a precise impulse into the joint.

Manual Therapy

Post-Isometric Relaxation
A method that uses gentle muscle contractions followed by stretching to reduce muscle tension, enhance flexibility, and promote blood flow. This technique is very comfortable for patients and provides immediate results.

Pin and Stretch
A targeted technique to provide an intense stretch to especially tight musculature. This method is especially useful for those with chronic pain and stiffness.

Static Cupping
A traditional therapy that uses the application of cups to pull the skin upward. This helps to reduce pressure, promote blood flow, and relieve muscle tension.

Ischemic Compression
A treatment that focuses on the application of a pressure into a singular point. This technique is perfect for the hard to reach muscles that can generate the most pain. The pressure is held for up to 2 minutes and can provide quick relief for muscle pain and stiffness.

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation (IASTM)
A modality that involves “scraping” the soft tissues to break up fascial adhesions, stimulate blood flow, and reduce pain/stiffness.

Therapeutic Exercises

Myofascial Meridian Correction
A technique that addresses imbalances in the body’s interconnected myofascial network to relieve tension, decrease pain, and improve movement. This is perfect for all patients including high level athletes, those with physical jobs, and office workers.

Postural Correction
Posture is a key concern among patients as it can lead to daily aches and pain. Targeted stretches that can be easily applied throughout the day can help relieve discomfort by correcting postural disorders such as upper crossed syndrome and anterior pelvic tilt.

Directional Preference Patterns
The focus of this method is finding just once exercise to relieve discomfort. For those with a busy lifestyle or who don't like a laundry list of exercises, directional preference patterns simplify everything into one singular motion. This can be used to treat joint pain, muscle discomfort, or nerve dysfunction.

Structural Stabilization
A treatment that focuses not only on increasing strength but teaching the patient to learn how to recruit already strong muscles. The core muscles are a key focus here as it not only stabilizes the spine but serves as an anchor point for the extremity muscles.

Neurodynamics
A modality that involves both the movement of the spine and extremity to slide or floss nerves back and forth. This helps to restore nerve function, increase nerve mobility, and break up adhesions along the course of the nerve. In doing so this can relieve nerve related symptoms such as radiating pain, numbness, tingling, and weakness.
